An artist to watch out for...Craig Damrauer

On October 26th, 2009 by .

We are starting a new monthly post that will be called ‘One to watch’.  Pippa Jameson Interiors will be keeping an eye on the design industry and picking out who we think will be the next big thing.  It could be an artist, textile designer, Illustrator or basically anyone in the design field.   The feature will be written by our new Global Contributor for Pippa Jameson Interiors; Amy Thackeray, based all the way in Sydney Australia!  We hope you enjoy reading our suggestions.

Halloween homeware...with a difference!

On October 21st, 2009 by .

pharell_chairs_3As Halloween is fast approaching I thought I would post a feature with a little humour.  This article was inspired by my work Colleague, Medical Illustrator Emily Evans.  Emily has been working in this field for over 8 years working for a multitude of clients and has produced some incredible drawings.  One of my favourite designs by Emily is this Piano decorated with anatomical hearts which was exhibited in Soho.

100% Design London 2009

As the new Arts & Design Contributor for Pippa Jameson Interiors, I will be reviewing the leading design shows and reporting my findings on the blog.   My first review was for 100% Design London, the contemporary interiors and architectural event which showcases and celebrates the best of British and international design at Earls Court each year. 100% Design London exhibits new products from UK based manufacturers, as well as British designers collaborating with international brands, and is the biggest event during the London Design Festival.
