We have been working on a shoot for a major camera brand and celebrity all week, it was a great brief and the shoot yesterday went really well. I was lucky to work with the celebrity photographer Daniel Kennedy who has such a great style of shooting, I’ll look forward to sharing the images with you once it has been published in all the consumer titles.
I’ll be carrying on with my Hotpoint work next week and then I move home, so the blog posts may be a little sparse…

As ever, it has been a busy few months for PJI.  I guess the biggest news is that I won an award; ‘Crown Paints Stylist Blogger of the Year 2011′!  Sadly, I was unable to attend the awards ceremony, as I had a little knock in my car but I received this beautiful framed certificate (below), thank you Crown Paints!

Other news, we have started our work with the launch of Luce by Hotpoint.   I am now their style expert, offering professional content including ‘choosing the right kitchen for your lifestyle’ (now live) and ‘Choosing the right floor for your kitchen’, we have many more subjects that will run over the next 6 months.  We are also working towards the official launch (January 2012), where we will be unveiling the gorgeous new range.

Our Bright & Graphic shoot will be appearing on Channel 4 Homes in the next few weeks.  I’ll be posting it as a feature on the site but here is a sneak preview (below).  It’s always a pleasure shooting with Jemma Watts, when you find a photographer that shares the same eye, you can really push the creative.

Last week saw us styling for the Figleaves A/W and Christmas press show at the gorgeous Powder Rooms in Soho.  It was quite a challenge due to the budget we had but we we did it.

Finally, we are working flat out ready for the launch of a new service on the blog.  I am so excited but it just can’t happen soon enough!

Hello!
I’m back in the office after a beautiful holiday in Norfolk with my gorgeous family.  It took me a few days to unwind and it didn’t help that the first few days were rainy.  Then the sun came out and the holiday began.  We managed to have about 6 days at the beach and so I don’t feel cheated ;0)

Work is ticking along nicely.  Figleaves.com have asked me to style their A/W & Christmas event again which is great as they are such a great team.  Decorex have asked me to Judge their Decorex Loves Blogging competition along with Holly Becker from Decor8 and Ellie Tenant from Ideal Home, I feel very honored.  We are also in talks about a book, I should know more about this at the end of the month.  Finally we have a Hotpoint shoot (date TBC) and big Ad shoot at the end of the month.

Most of all I am looking forward to all of the trade shows coming up – it’s going to be a crazy September!!

I’m currently half way through a very relaxing holiday in Norfolk, hence no blog posts, but I felt I had to write something as I was getting withdrawal symptoms!

When I return, Carrie and I are going to be busy working on several projects including a possible book (so excited about this!) and quoting for a large Ad job. We also have a beach shoot to fit in but I am trying to switch off from this until next week ;0)

Off to the beach again tomorrow. It’s 23 here but I hear London was 30 today!!! I hope you’re all managing to
stay cool.
